Meet PJF Security Group Founder: Patrick Fay
Mr. Fay is the Founder and President of Patrick Fay Investigations, LLC, a licensed and insured security and private investigation company in the State of New Jersey.
Patrick attended Kean University and received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration and continued his education at Seton Hall University, obtaining an Ed.S in Education, Leadership, and Policy Development.
He retired as a Detective after over twenty-five years of service with the Cranford Police Department, Union County Special Response Team (UCERT) and the Union County SWAT team.
Mr. Fay has been a member of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, vice president of the Union County Detective Association and vice president of PBA Local #53. He has received training in supervision and hostage negotiation from the FBI. He has also attended the John E Reid School of Interview and interrogation and during his assignment as a detective conducted over 1100 investigations involving local, state and federal law enforcement.
During his assignment with the Union County Emergency Response Team and Union SWAT he was responsible for conducting facility security assessments, pre-operational search warrant plans, accreditation and compliance. He was one of the team leaders and instructors for, firearms, crowd/ riot control, and less lethal munitions instructor. He was also responsible for staff development programs, emergency planning and response, and liaison to local police agencies.
Since retirement he has worked for one of the largest private security companies on the east coast as their business development manager and has conducted site assessments on over 150 high schools, county and state government building, churches of worship, manufacturing and distribution centers, colleges, gated communities, and construction work sites.
In addition to his own company Mr. Fay is currently an advisor and Director of Security for one of the largest law firms in New Jersey coordinating investigations and security assessments for clients and employees.
Mr. Fay has been vetted and qualified as a Security Company Owner and Private Investigator by the New Jersey State Police. He also maintains active memberships in ASIS International, National Tactical Officers Association, and International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors.
